wut? . . do I need a reason for owning about 50 sets of rims? . .

well a bit of all you said, I like wheels, so a big part of it is just the pleasure of having them, even if I don't have a car to run em on . . also I do own about 10 cars right now (luckely all have 5x120 . . ) and I do like the idea that I do have several options for em . . also I prefer to have a "spare" set of all the wheels I run on my cars . . so I don't have to worry about damaging em . . . by now, a lot of ppl know that I buy almost any wheel . . so I end up with quite a lot of "boring" and "uninteresting" ones . . those I do refurbish (if necessary and/or reasonable) and sell em . .
from time to tim I also sell a "nice" set . . but normally just if someone pays a really good price or does have something even more interesting to trade . .

set of early 3-piece 7x15 ET27 4x100 PLS LeMans wheels . . PLS are high end french wheels, they cost you a arm and a leg back in the 80's/90's . . and are still quite sought after . . got them for a steal . . .



just for resale, I also bought those:

what was Audi thinking when putting those on cars? . . WOW! they are heavy!! .. and I don't mean that they look heavy . . are they made out of lead? . . compared to a similar sized set of BMW wheels . . I almost snapped my shoulder out when I was picking them up . . crazy!
