kodiak will likely be your only option for custom lips for the longchamps

not yet, figured it would be cheaper though a shop that does many different sizes/brands. i guess last option would be to go through the manufacturer. eeh or just widen them.

cool, ill contact them. only problem is Rotiform told me, because the sizing of the faces its going to be difficult to fit i guess.

"We supply only RM & RS 15" diameter outer shells, width .5 thru 3.0 inch"

Since my faces are 14" or smaller will this work? BTW, noob question, what is "RM & RS"?

they havent made them for 20 years. contacting SSR isnt going to help.

Rotiform would be the best place.

rotiform doesnt do their own lips, they outsource the work..

kodiak does lips in custom configurations. you fill out a form with dimensions for bolt to bolt, amount of bolts, overall sizes, etc, and they can build them for you.

BBS RS,RM are standard wheels most people buy lips for. just so you know, a 14" wheel has a much smaller face then 14". typical 16" RS are 34 bolt 12.25" diameter faces.

These are a 3pc welded wheel, where the face, barrel and lips and bolted together and then a bead of weld is run down the inside seam. This prevents leaks but also greatly strengthens the wheel.

When rebarreling a 3pc welded wheel to be run as a true three piece, you're going to want to add more wheel bolts. Most true 3pc'ers run at least 30 bolts.

No, But Rotiform has been known to make oldschool wheels bigger using the faces.

That's exactly what I thought... but unfortunately I got this email...

"unfortunately our tooling does not work with the sizing of your faces. We can help you restore those if you are interested.

                      Thanks,

                      -Jason"

Yes, I either planned on welding on the new barrels or adding a lot more than the 8 bolts they came with. Need new hardware anyway... rusted to no end.

lots of companies do this, and dont outsource to say the same company i am about to type. let me be clearer....KODIAK does custom lips, see if they will make lips and barrels for your upsized set. they are the source everyone uses

call them and discuss what you want to do to the wheels. and since you currently have 8 bolts, try to split it evenly, say 24 or 32 bolts per wheel. will make it easier since you can use the holes they come with in addition to lots of new holes which will need to be drilled into the faces

no affiliation with them whatsoever just know from the past they do work like this

Kodiaks picky though. I tried to order some for my 15" longchamps and they wouldnt. Same with a friend for his RS's.
