  • BBS LM reverse mount

    Hi

I'm thinking about reverse mounting my bbs lm's

The where the bolts go through the center there's a kind off a bigger hold so the sit flush against the center. You can see it clearly on the picture. (Not my picture I found it on stanceworks)

My question is, do I have to machine the lip to make it sit flush against the inner side of the barrel or is there another way ?

    regards,
    Aron

Its not a 3 piece wheel, so no it doesn't need to be machined down. The barrel and lip are one sealed piece. You know this will change the offset, right?

If it has to do with wheels, tires or brakes it goes here. 'Nuff said.

I know that it's a 2 piece, but doesn't that gap between the barrel and center cause any problems ?

as for the offset change. I'm counting on it. The wheels are Et30 8.5x18 in the front and Et34 9.5x18 in the back. I'm gonna move the center, gain some offset (and lip) and than I'm going to decide on spacers

it's going to look sick under my E34 M5 !
