    how it goin guys i have a set of bbs lm replicas with like a machined lip and the lacquer is starting to flake on the lips of the wheels and the metal underneath goin dull.. now i was wondering could i sand the lacquer off and wet sant up to 1400 grit would this give a good finish and how would i maintain the finish after (lacquer or wax, sealent..) cheers guys

    and before anyone says i cant afford real deal lms

    strip the lips, then polish them like you said, then some good sealant and you'll be set, just take care of them

    nothing wrong with reps, i honestly like the looks of them better due to how the face mounts, just don't try and act like they are real

        You could sand the lacquer off and go up to 1400 grit but this would only give you maybe slightly shiny sanded look. For a proper polished look you neet to actually polish the lip.
