i need help with this i have some 15x7 ARE mesh wheels that are 25mm off set
so i have a few questions?
    1. what size tire would be ideal for this rim?
the car is lower 1 inch the in front and 1.7 inches in the back
    2. i test fitted the rim on the front of my car ( i have a svt focus) the brakes caliper touches the inner part of the rim
so would it be better to grind off some the metal off the caliper or run a spacer on the fronts of the wheels
    3. if i do run spacers which size spacer should i run?

    1. it depends on so many variables, camber, width of wheel, offset, how low you are, if you want stretch or meat etc etc etc so go measure.
    2. use spacers or shave the caliper.
    3. measure.

so the things you named those would be the things i need to focus on. i would like to poke out a little and i do know that i have to shave my brake calipers a little to make these wheels fit plus i would have to get some camber to get these wheels to fit good

the question is, would a 7inch wide wheel with 25mm offset poke on your car?
think spacers would solve poke and caliper clearance.
tho i have no idea what size tire you should run at all. to get some stretch so you would be able to poke.

it would also be great to know what car you are planning on running them on.

From your name, svt the first thing that pops into my head is the american ford focus.
if its that, you should look up a chick on here, dont remember her name but she had a silver one with 16x9 or 17x9 et was around 20, she could be your starting point to get the fitment you want.

This is not her, but she had the same setup only better fitment (custom camber arms etc and more low)

not to sound like a prick, but if you already know what you wanna do, why did you ask? or did you just make up your mind now?

On a 7x15 wheel id run either (from best to "worst" choice)

                      1. 185/45s
                      2. 165/50s
                      3. 164/45s (if your cars slammed as fuck only)
                      4. 195/45

Dont do 195/50s or even 195/55s. That will look stupid!
You might also wanna have a look at tyrestretch.com!

I wouldnt poke out such a skinny wheel too far, rather make it sit flush.
I cant say anything about fitting 15s on a Focus but on my old MK3 Golf you could easily fit ET10s or lower.
