hey guys, first post here on stanceworks, ive been looking around for a good while though. so i have an 09 bmw 328i sedan and am about to start putting the wheel project into the works. i guess my first question is tires. sorry if i sound like an idiot but ive never had to figure out what tires to put on a car other than replacing what was already there. so ill be running staggered LM reps that are 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 on a stock suspension for now. however, i will probably want to tuck the wheels up in the wheel wells in a year or so when i can afford it (aka drop it about an inch all around) so basically i just want to know what tire setup to use and if i should stretch and if i should how much. im not exactly clueless but guidance woud be helpful, and like i said i havent done this before so any help is greatly appreciated, and if i left anything out let me know. thanks in advance guys.

So youre going just for looks - no clearance issues - until you drop the car. As long as youre not lowered id recommend you some tires close to stock sizes. Im not a BMW guy but have a look at may the E90 M3 wheel/tire combo
Front: 245/35 R19 ET 29 (8,5) -> tire wall of 8,5cm
Rear: 265/30 R19 ET 23 (9,5) -> tire wall of 7,9cm
Id now look into some affordable tire. Maybe a 225/35 which has a tire wall height similar to the M3's rears...
Problem with stretched or really low profile tires that your car will look like its raised - which you probably dont want right?slamburglars.com
