Wow! Thanks guys. I appreciate all the offers to help me out here.
The problem is that I haven't bought these wheels, yet. I need to know how expensive it will be to re-build them, 'cause the aren't exactly cheap in the first place either..
They are 17s.
35 holes.
Edit: Futuras have 35 holes too, right?? Sooo I guess they have the same type of lips?
Be careful taking those apart... Like the Gallardo Callisto wheels (Also made by OZ), the wheels are pressed when bolted together to maintain strength and perfect curve.
Also, Lamborghini NEVER released the proper torque figures for the bolts (not even OZ has "officially" released the figures) - and lots of times when you remove the bolts, the nutserts spin in the wheel.
Trust me, there is a reason Lamborghini voids warranties for customers that take apart and paint their wheels.
And if you want to check my cred, I work for Lamborghini S.p.A
The pressing the wheels together sounds a bit odd to me, tho some times it helps if you lay the center in a freezer and heat the lip and barrels a bit.
the torque for OZ is 22-25 ft/lbs, 33-34 Nm, i would imagine these would be the same.
I torqued my OZ tho those specs and used green loctit, never had a issue.
