7 x 16 Weaves on E36 - Does it fit?

I saw lots of pictures with e36 drivin' the 16 inch weaves of the e38 & e39 on the internet, but i didn't know what they had to do to make it fit... so where else could i get help, if not on SW? ;-)

So here's my question:

What did you have to do to get that wheels mounted? Roll the fenders, just lay back the fender edge or did it fit without doing any of these?

I'm planning to mount 7 x 16 Weaves with an offset of 20 mm, i'm running DTS coilovers and my ride is lowered about 60 mms.

I bet they would bolt up without doing anything. You may have to roll your inner fender edge a bit but nothing crazy as long as you don't run massive tires.

I thought about running 205/55/16, as they are mounted on oem e36 wheels with a 7 inch width

should not have any problem at all, maybe you need to roll the rear fenders a little bit.

e38 weaves are 16x8 et23, are those the ones you're talking about?

I'm talkin' about the ones of the e39 5-Series... These are 7 x 16 ET 20 :-)
