hello everyone. I am brand new to this forum and need some help on purchasing new lips for my bbs rs wheels. I purchased a set of rs's 16x7 +45 and now want some bigger lips. They now have the stepped lips. They are not shaped like the wider ones you can purchase that come straight off the centers, they recess fist and then come out. My question is how wide would they be if i put 2.5 lips on it or should i stick with a 2 inch lip. O btw they will be shoved under an integra. Any help or info would be great. Thanks

How big are the current lips? Pictures of the wheels? You're going to need to do some measuring.

i don't have pics at the moment but i will take one tonight. they look like they are an inch or inch and a half wide but i know you need to subtract half of that bc they are stepped... i will post pics shortly

lips are actually 1.5 inches but with a atraight edge across the wheel they are an inch off the center as in the pic. again the wheels are 16x7 +45

those lips you show in the pics are referred to as .5" lips. you dont measure to the outermost part of the lip but rather where the bead of the tire sits.

so in this case add 2" to your width if you want a true 2.5" lip and 1.5" if you want a 2" true lip.

You're measuring them all wrong. Google how to measure wheels

They look like .5" lips, but we have no way of knowing just how wide they are until you measure them correctly.

IF they are .5" lips, do some simple math, and that'll give you your answer. It's not rocket science.

my girlfriend is pushing down on the straight edgethats why it looks like .75" . I measured them before i took the picture and its 1". My guess is whatever lips i would want to order 2" or 2.5", i would just need to subtract the size i have and that would give me the amount of inches i'm gaining. Correct
