  • question about fitting custom wheels on an e28

Hi, I'm pretty new to do this whole stance thing and I need an experts help who's know what'll fit best on an e28. Im getting some custom wheels made for my e28 and the guy needs to know what offsets I need for fronts and rears and everything he's telling me to figure it out is going way over my head. I know this is probably a dumb question and im sure there are millions of tools and calculators for me to figure this out with but I dont trust myself and dont want to end up making a wheel that doesnt fit so if someone can spoon feed me the answer it would be much appreciated Basically what Im doing is I want to fit a 17x9 on the front and 17x9.5 on the rears. Would anybody who's know the measurments on an e28 be able to tell me whats the best offsets to run to have maximum lip size. I want to drop the car pretty low where the rear wheels have to be tucked into the inside of the wheel wheels, not flush or poking. Thank You

A million tools..... or a ruler

They should have a measurement sheet that shows you what measurements they need, give them those measurements and tell them where you want the outer lip to sit. DONE.

How are you planning on running it pretty low? I only ask because you should sort that out first because geometry will change as you lower the car.
