Check out what that girl Armanda did with her Focus. She's running 17x9 Cobra replicas on hers, with a lot of custom suspension work to get them fitted. Sounds like what you're after.

The general style discussion forum, as well as a place to post your car, or any car for that matter.

You don't need taller wheels so much as wider. A 16x8 could look good on a focus and in the right offset look very nice and allow significant low and you could likely run the 205/50's or some 195/50s and look fine without the side effects of added tire gap and reduced gear ratio.

those cobra wheels have me thinking. I am interested in seeing how much modification the fenders needed and what other cutting might need to be done...

Well, she's a member here... get in touch with her, look through her posts...

Her build updates have been relatively thorough.

OP are you a member of Focalize or Focaljet focus clubs? They can really help you out on there too. Quite a few of them stancing their cars. I found stance through a local Focus member of Focalize and decided to stance my truck.

I haven't strayed too far from StanceWorks... I am now trying to find some 16x8's with a 4x108 bolt pattern... Stupid 4x108 wheels are soooo hard to find.

I am thinking about some O.Z. Leggendas but they are only a 17x7. Anyone have an idea of how much it might cost to get them modified to a 17x9?

I think you my like to look into some of the european wheel suppliers b/c while the 4x108 pattern your focus has here in the states isn't very common here it is common to some peugeot and citroen models in europe and several manufacturers make some nice wheels in decent offsets that you'll find may be just what your looking for. ( I'm a fan of the DZ-Exklusiv DZ1's in 16x9 of foci myself)

Or this. . . These could look absolutely tits with some more low.

If you haven't learned this yet- Chicks dig euro wheels.

Lots. You're better off custom-ordering something from somewhere....
