Are these wheels desireable to the VW/Audi scene?

I have a chance to pick up some Porsche Phone Dials for $275. I just want to know if these are worth picking up and trying to resell, or if I should just let them go? hahah.

If I covered shipping I'd be in the hole man. I'm paying $275 plus gas to drive 40 miles one way to get them. Then ship them from Texas to Canada? (didn't I just read that you were going to buy some for $450) :P haha

they are depending on the offsets of them

What offsets should I be looking for? He doesn't know off hand, but he says they came off of his 1986 928.

Id imagine the lower offset the better

All this guy knows is that they are 16 inches. I looked up the specs and I'm guessing that they might be 16x7 with a 65mm offset all around?

Judging from what I've found, they came in two sizes, 15 and 16 inches, did they each come in different offsets aswell?

The ones I'm about to pick up are 15x7 et23.3 but i'm going to need adapters.. Will i be able to fit these on my mk3 jetta?
