Hey guys.
Just got a set of 3 piece Ac Schnitzer Type 1 wheels that I am going to refurbish.
They are 8x17 E33 and 9x17 E45,5... So they have a 1.5" lip in the front and back
Great offset for my e36, so I won't need new barrels.. But I am on the lookout for a deeper look with bigger lips.
I am having a hard time deciding between getting 2.0" & 2.5" lips or 2.5" and 3.0"
The 2.0 & 2.5" combo is pretty good looking and will be a pleasure to drive
Here's a car with those lip sizes: http://www.felgen-garage.de/Showcars/Rinderer.html
The 2.5 & 3.0" combo is super hot but I am afraid it will be a pain in the a** to drive.
http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum....php?t=1579159 (well actually Mike is running 3" in front)
My current setup are BBS RSII that are 18x8.5 ET22, I have rolled fenders and PSS9 coilovers that I have at the stiffest setting
So, should I play it safe and run the 2.0&2.5 lips or go wild (and maby ruin my driving pleasure) for 3" ?
tl;dr Got ACS T-1 wheels, should I get 2&2.5" lips or 3" lips for my e36?
Thanks!
