  • Help with EK Civic fitment - ET0

Hi guys... Need some help for a mate who's got an ek, we're both not too sure about wheel specs really... anyway

He's going to fit a set of XXR 002'S. They are ET0 and 8 inch wide, would they fit ok? i know it will need a little camber and stretch but he doesn't want to go over board with either...

Also being et0, would they look abit silly sticking out so far??? I think civic standard are et35/ 45

We're just unsure... Thanks for the help guys

Roll your fenders and run a 205/40

It's been done a lot. Do a bit of searching.

there are plenty of example's in this thread on Honda-Tech. It's specifically for XXR/Sportmaxx wheels:

Honda / Acura - All Sportmax and XXR wheels, Post them here. - i love these wheels but I can't find hardly any pics of then on hondas. thanks!

All I can say is make sure he rolls his fenders and adjusts his camber correctly. Once that is done, they look tits. Here's one example:

are the wheels 16 or 15? if they are 16's get 195 40 15's barely any stretch and if they are 15's do a 195 45 barely any stretch as well but enough anything 205 or up on a 8 inch wide wheel will not stretch...... i would go with toyo t1r's they are very common and appear to have more stretch... stay away from federals they hav almost no stretch ...

the wheels should fit with almost no problem after a small roll and around -2 or -3 degrees of camber or maybe even less....

                good luck!

Ya like he said camber and rolled fenders work well. I have natural camber and it fits perfect. As far as rolling fenders make sure you have someone experienced help with the rears. They are awful to roll

                    Thanks all for the replies.

The guy's actually gone and order 15x8 xxr 501's ET 15 i think, so waiting for arrive.. I think he went with 205 tyres too.... which will suck if no stretch, however.. with a bit of arch rolling and camber it should look pretty dam good.

He'll sign up and make a build thread soon,

There wont really be any stretch with a 205. I run a 195 on an 8" wheel and its a very mild stretch.
