My wheels are 17x7.5 and 17x8.5 and I was thinking of getting a 205_40_R17 tire for the rear and a 195_40_R17 tire for the front. I went to tirerack and they only had three tires for the 195_40 and they were all summer which would wear fast. I did not want to do all 205_40 because it would not be the same stretch all the way around, or would it? What other options could I do to get the same stretch in the rear as the 205_40s in the front? Thanks in advance.

It's gonna be really tough to get a nice stretch on a 17x7.5

I am also even having trouble finding out what sizes I should use to have no stretch. Do you know what sizes that would be? Thank you.

        185/35 nankang nsII.
sorry for the shitty reply, not on top of the world atm.

ps. if you got a e36 (taken from user name) a 7.5 and 8 will be to small on such a "big" car. it will look weird when they are spaced out.
