  • Tire size recommendations?

I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on a set of CSL reps, 19x8.5 & 19x9.5. The recommended tire sizes are 235/35-19 front & 265/30-19 rear. I'm guessing that would provide zero stretch? I'm not looking for crazy stretch but do you think 225/35-19 and 255/30-19 will do the job?

    Thanks in advance!

It doesn't matter what car it is Jorge, he's just going for the stretched look, get with it

They will be on my E39 that's pictured in my sig. It will probably see a drop as well in the near future. I just want to see how they look on the car before I buy lowering springs. I'll get the fenders rolled too if need be.

CSL reps on an e39 with lowering springs in it's future? Doesn't sound like you'll need any stretch at all so, yeah, those tire sizes will do the job.

Get it lowered to where you want it and then choose the appropriate tyre. If you stretch your tyres for the sake of it, it'll look stupid. It also depends on where your wheels are going to be, ie are you using spacers?

Cool, that's what I figured but wanted to run it past the experts on the subject. Which tire size? The sizes recommended by EAS or mine? ...or both. lol

I hear what you're saying. I wasn't looking for super-stretch. Perhaps you're right & I should lower first. I was planning on using spacers too. EDIT: I thought these wheels came with hub adapters. I'll have to do some searching...

EAS only offers the wheels as a staggered set. Even if I had the option, I would choose staggered.

                  This setup is PERFECT imho.
