  • E46 fitment question

ok my brother got a 2000 323i, he got a set of HSE land rover sport wheels (snowflake looking ones) there 19x9 et 53, i was wondering what would be a good offset for him to run and what size tire, and the wheels have good size lug holes compared to the stock ones we were wondering how to get them to fit , there the same bolt pattern and hub size. If anyone can help us out that would be great

ET53? You want something like 30mm spacer at least. Probably not worth it but it would be a place to start. Tyres you'd want a 215/225 or something.

Flush offsets are around 10-15 depending on wheel width.

there 19x9, but when my dad test fit the he said it just touches the strut and sits almost flush with the fender, im wondering if there really wider then 9 in

There is no way that a 9 with that high an offset touches the strut, and is nearly flush. Even if they were 10s that wouldn't happen. Either your Dad has an extremely poor definition of flush or the wheels are much wider and have a lower offset, I'm guessing its the first option.

As far as I know they're 9j. They would definitely hit the strut but wouldn't be flush like Kielan said. He can 1. Get big spacers around the size Jorge mentioned or 2. Sell em and get new ones, I know what I'd do
