Sure you can... With some research and measurements anything is possible. We fit wheels all the time without ever having them on the car. It all comes down to personal preference, tire size, fender modifications, ride height and so on. There's a lot of variables, but there is a science to it...

Fifteen52 Tarmacs. The unique flat face design would work well with the big slabby side panels on the v70 wagon IMO

AGREED. I'd love to see some tarmacs on a volvo.
Once they start doing sizes smaller than 18's, i'll be ordering some for my 245.

Mercedes Alphards.

There's a few pictures floating around the interwebs of a slammed 850r with Alphards. I can't for the life of me find the pics again though. The car looked pretty good, but he was stretching tire quite a bit to get them to fit. Unsure how aggressive you want your fitment to be, but they are a good option.
