I usually use the spray aircraft stripper first, then I slop the goopy in a can stuff on and let it sit. Whatever that doesnt take off, I take a DA to with some 80-180 grit depending on how bad it is.
With the stripper, use a razorblade, then hose it off...
I usually go through a couple cans of the spray, and a can of the brush on type for one set of wheels.Originally posted by FluidMotorUnionFuck Rotas, I'd rather my wheels not break apart when I drive over a watermelon seed.

Unless I was getting rid of some serious damage I would start with about 240 and then progressively work up to 2000 wet, then start with a tac cloth to get rid of any dust, clean it a few times, then again with another tac cloth, and then start priming, followed by multiple light coats of paint, finished with LOADS of lacquer/O O==[][]==O O\

Second of all, why the hell would you work up to 2000 just to spray over it?
