  • E36 Clearance question

    Hello,

    I have an E36 Coupe, running 17" Style 32's. (ET20 8").
I will be running AP Coilovers (Similar to KW V1) at a lowish setting.

Been thinking about spacing them out a little bit and have a question regarding this.

How low can I run the offsets without pulling the fenders? I want the fender to be completely stock looking and do not want any rubbing etc. this is my DD.
Ideally would just want the rim to be flush with the fender lip front and rear.

Also at what point do you generally need to roll the fenders?

I would appriciate any help on this. Havenīt found specific answers by searching...

Post your build threads here! Keep us updated on what you're doing in your garage.

Here is my car running same rims but with 9j out back. Fronts had plenty of room with lots of lows and the rears were flush so youll be fine with stock fenders on 8j all round.

    Hope this helps

      Thank you for this.

Do you know if I would get away with a 10mm spacer all around without pulling the fenders?

Have also been thinking about 5-10mm upfront and 10-15mm out back.

I am running 205/45 Falken tires.

With those spacers and tyres you have in mind then yes youll have fender problems.

If those are the tyres youll be running then id say a 5mm spacer up front and 10mm out back, but max out the control arms out to negative camber to increase clearance.
