E36 17x8.5/9.5 et 20 fitment

Hey all,

Looking at some sort of BBS RS replica either the ESM 002R @ 17@8.5 et 20 or the Privat Remember in 17x9 et20 or 35. I'm pretty sure the 35 will fit without much issue but what about the et 20? Can I put either an 8.5 or 9" on the rear with a 235/40?

You should be fine with the offsets, but that tyre might be a bit wide.
