    Hello, I think my -19 offset wheels are poking a bit to much for my taste, altough I will run 3,5degrees neg camber (still ongoing project). Looking for the perfect fitment, so mm is important After some searching I see people and some wheel restoration shops mill the wheel center to get a higher offset. Anyone with experience doing this? I have access to a lathe, mill, CNC machine and a competent machinist.

    How much can I safely take off? I have 8mm (about 3/4") of aluminium until the lug cone begins if you measure backside to front. Would 3-4mm be safe?

    The rotor is really thick (drum to rotor conversion) so here I can safely mill of some mm, but I would like to know how much I can do from the wheels. A -12 offset would be perfect... I've sent a email to the producer, but no answer.

    And no, I'm going to get another set of wheels. They are some cheap Rota RBRs which I'll just be running this summer and also my test wheels to use for testing until I buy some perfect fitting wheels next season. Already have a buyer on them:P

      I wouldnt go any thinner on a cheap cast wheel. If it was forged it would be a different story.

        I've thought about it, but I don't think it's safe.

          Personally, I'd take the brake rotor off, take a few millimeters off the hub face with a lathe, and call it a day. That'll push your wheels in a little bit and it'll keep the offset of your wheels true to the specs it originally had.
