  • Converting 1-piece to 2-piece, is it possible?

    Well, is it?
Are there any special requirements? How hard is it, not by me but a metal working shop (or something like that).
Can you to do it to any rim, or are there special requirements?
    etc..

    Enlighten me pls.

depends on the wheel, its been done before, but its very custom and you need to know what you're doing. It would probably be easier to convert to 3 piece. And its also going to be expensive because aside from the machining that would be necessary you're also going to have to buy 4 barrels and 4 lips, plus rim screws

Seems like these won't be very good candidates.

Not at all. Unless you wanted to make them 2 piece with removeable barrels haha.

So 3-piece might be doable. But i probably need a 16" wheel, to end up with a 17" 3-piece.
Not sure if i can find a shop that can do this.
