AMG's Where they belong

So before i get ragged on by not being low, i do have to say that i did just order some new springs.

My dilemma is that i have two sets of wheels to choose from, and i need opinions and assistance.

First are the 17x8 et44 Monoblocks painted black



Second are the 18x8.5 et 28 in polished chrome





Which ones should i rock this spring?
Also, the chromes already rub with the 245/40/18 tires they currently have, and the fenders are rolled. If the car is going down 2.5 inches, what size tire should i throw on to minimize rubbing? I have been told 225/40/18, but i fear that they will still rub if i lower the car.

lower , amg polished chrome , 205 40 tire , and its all good

Polished ones + 215/40 or 205/40 and a fair bit lower and it will look tops
