215/40/18 of choice...?

Which one is best stretched on a 8j wheel? Im looking for some curvature ala Nankang NS2...any ideas gents?

512 is really the only 215/40 that will remotely stretch on an 8.

I would do a 205/40 Neo Gen ( I made a thread on this a while back).

to get the curve you are looking for you may need something even smaller than a 205, check out tyrestrech.com most of the pictures list the tire brand and model on top

I have 205/40s on an 8, and an 8.5. Will be maybe a week before I can get some pics for you though, car is in storage.

i don't think you can get a decent stretch on an 8. i have 8.5's with a 205 and it barely stretches

Thats 215 looks very nice - thanks. It looks quite a similar stretch (maybe a little less) to a 225/40 on a 9j wheel. Which is the effect I am going for. Brilliant, thanks guys. I think both options, 215 & 205 will provide a viable alternative. If anyone has any further pics of a 205/40/18 on an 8 keep em coming. Otherwise, that running pic of a 215.40/18 Falken is the best ive seen yet...
