Need help about wheel fitment on e28

Do you think a staggered 18x9 and 18x10 wheels would fit into a e28 if it got slammed like mike burroughs style? If you think it can what offsets should I run on fronts and backs to have the least amount of trouble tucking the wheels into the wheel wells? Would a camber kit be required and can you have a camber kit if its gonna run stock cut springs? Sorry but Im a pretty new at this stuff and Im trying to figure out what works. Im contemplating if I should go for a staggered 17x9 and 17x10 or 18x9 and 18x10 and I would rather go for the 18"s if I knew it would work. Would appreciate on the feedback. Thanks

first off, make your car YOUR style. the problem with e28's (i should know, i have one) is that if you have a slammed one, people instantly say "oh, your trying to copy mike burroughs"

so do us all a favour. dont drop HIS name when talking about YOUR e28.



if you want to go 18's, i suggest going with a staggered set of bmw style 32's. 18x8 et20 and 18x9 et22. with enough low and the right tire size it would look amazing. but keep in mind, the e28 really doesn't suit the 18" wheel all that well, unless it is either a bbs wheel, or an OEM BMW wheel.

if you can get your hand on some staggered 18" style 5's, that would be the best way to go.

if that isn't possible, pick up some ESM 002r's. 17x8.5 and 17x10 rs reps. that would be hot as hell.

also, just by lowering the rear of an e28 you get a pretty decent amount of camber. whereas the front stays pretty much even no matter how low you go. so you might want some camber plates up front.


OH, and the BIGGEST news of all. if you have to roll your rear fenders, prepare for the worst fucking night of your life.
