  • Help with ordering SSR MS1's

I did a search and found a similar thread here:
If it has to do with wheels, tires or brakes it goes here. 'Nuff said.

I didnt want to hijack the OP's thread since I have different concerns. I am currently running Porsche GT3 RS wheels (specs: 2 Front 18x8.5 ET40 2 Rear: 18x11 ET63) with 3" spacers on the rear and 1.5" spacers on the fronts. the wheels fit pretty flush now but I want some deep dish lips- especially in the rear. can someone help me decipher the SSR chart?

-I am looking for 18" wheels that will fit without spacers with the deepest possible lips. my thoughts were 18x13 rear (et ??) and 18x10 front (et??) any help would be greatly appreciated.

    thank you

according to my calculations i'd guess around -15 and -20 for the fronts, around -35 for the rears.
Hatchbacks, wagons... It's NOT all the same. You want in? Don't get a mazda 3, get a mazda 6 wagon. Don't get a wrx get a legacy wagon. and theres a reason the A3 isn't called the A3 avant... Scion does not make a wagon it makes a weird van, but no wagons

    Sincerely,
    The Wagon Mafia:Inner Circle
P.S. Is your tail a wagon?

    Show cars are lame.

      18x13 +11 SL <-- 2mm less aggressive, 142mm lip

      18x10 +11 SL <--10mm more aggressive, 104mm lip

Mind that SL disk may not clear your brakes.

Thank you both for your recommendations. KartiKeya, just to be safe, do you think I should go with the normal disk (+1) to clear brakes or medium disk. They are stock Porsche calipers.. is there a measurement that I can take on the car to see? Thanks again

When i was ordering my wheels, i got SSR to double check caliper clearance. Might want them to do the same for you JUST incase and for peace of mind. And i guess, if they are wrong, atleast you got it in writing that they said it would clear but it didnt. so replacement costs would be nil i would hope.

You got a long 8 week wait ahead of you brother. haha.

good looking out Private_Numero.. I'll do that. I hope they can take into account that my car has a widebody kit on it otherwise their calculations will tell them the wheels I want will not fit.. Yeah, its still snowing here so I can handle the wait.. it's killing me waiting for nice weather.. but this way I can still have some fun with my cars (off season upgrades) even if I cant drive them.
