    started a topic Rebuilding CCW's

    Rebuilding CCW's

Been out of it and havent been on here in awhile!

Anyway, decided to get slightly bigger lips(.5") for the wheels and Zeb @ Euro Image Tuning(http://euroimagetuning.myshopify.com/) did a great job cleaning and polishing (which he didnt have to do) then rebuilding them.

    Started off as:
    18x8.5 et 38 1.5" lips
    18x9.5 et 44 2" lips

Purchased 2.5" lips and moved the 2" lips to the front

Then sent it over to Zeb to do his thing...

    When AJ dropped them off.

    Pulled them all apart.

    Cleaned up the hardware.

    Little scrubbing.

Barrels wire wheeled and ready to roll.

    Rear of the faces before.

    Rear of the faces after.

    Front of the faces before.

Front of the faces after. Just had to do a little cleaning on the fronts.

    Backpads before.

    Backpads wire wheeled.

Laying the hardware out to loctite and assemble the wheels.

    Fronts assembled and sealed.

    Rears assembled and sealed.

    Both rears done.

    All done.

    Specs:
    Front

    Rear
    Final specs:
    18x9 et 32 2" lips on Falken 452 - 215 40 18
    18x10 et 38 2.5" lips on Falken 512 - 225 40 18

He did a great job, the seal looks just like when I got them new from ccw

I was tempted to do an inch bigger lip all around but maybe for next year.

The lips werent expensive so this was done relatively cheap.

Sent them over to PTP, probably the only shop I would trust to mount tires

When it was all said and done, I had a friend, D.Tek(who doesnt know him? lol), who just moved in town take shots of the car.

If he edits more pictures I'll post em up.
