  • 30mm spacers safe?

Has anyone ran 30mm spacers, and are they safe?
I'd be getting a hub centric obviously and extended lug bolts w proper size to run them, but I wanna know if anyone has ran spacers that high before and if you had any issues?

Id be putting them on my OZ fronts, they have a weird set up.

18x8 ET47, so I measured and want them at et 17 w my tire size and height.

    Any info is great

You want bolt on, not extended lugs

a 3"-3 1/2" lug bolt would run it fine.. if its too long for the 3 1/2, ill just shorten it.
i just wanna see if anyone has done it here, and personal input on how it was.

i see people selling them on diff forums, and h&r has the hub centric 30mm

exact input i was looking for, thanks homie!

i can get the bolts pretty easily from a local shop, and cut them down if theyre too long.
i just gotta get the spacers ordered

As said by the other guy above, I'd only use 30mm bolt on.

Had 26mm with extended nuts on my old car though, and whilst it had no problems. It was always there in my mind.

i have 27mm bolt on. i would be a little nervous to run bolts that long.

well, the local shop does a lot of conversions w/ adapters that are spaced out quite a bit and havent ran into any issues on any of the cars.

im not gonna be drifting or anything hardcore, just daily driving

with a 30mm spacer i would do a stud conversion. im assuming since you have an m3 just get the studs put the spacer on and then lug nuts

Extended studs will put a lot of pressure on the studs because of how spaced they would be. Bolt on spacers will bolt to the hub, then the wheel will bolt to the spacer. Way better when you're running large spacers. I ran 46mm and 33mm bolt ons and never had any problems. I drive the car pretty hard too.
