  • Advice needed: Painting 3-piece wheel 'Centers'

I'm refinishing type 1's and want to paint the 'wheel centers' this color:

EDIT: Please see my last post (#7
    ).

I have the wheels disassembled, and the centers/faces are stripped to the bare metal via aircraft stripper. My questions for you:

--Should I do a paint or powdercoat finish?

---And how much should it cost me?

    I was quoted 85 a wheel.
But that was the whole wheel, + sandblasting, also they are 18's.
Dude... My nissan has like a v8, man.

I paid £20 GBP to get my centres shot blasted and powder coated each... £140 for them all if I wanted a custom colour.

Why would you care about price, when its a wheel of that range
And contact wokke.de, and ask him what color it is, since he is the one that refinished that wheel.

I was quoted $300 for just paint and clear from my local shop.

Anyways I've spoken to Wolf, as well as Claus from Felgen Garage. The color on that wheel is Audi Sportsilber. Color code LU7A:

I'd like to know how everybody goes about painting their wheel centers and what local shops should be charging for something like this.

bump. I've been quoted ~$300 ($75 each) to get them painted.

              Does this seem reasonable?
