  • 225/40 hankook ventus v12 on 18x10??

I have new wheels on the way. specs are
    18x10 et4
    18x12.5 et4

going to probably be running hankook ventus v12 evo k110

rears are likely to be 285/30/18. sidewall will be 85.5mm according to simple math.

looks like the only size they sell for decent stretch for the fronts is 225/40/18. i really was hoping for a 35 series tire, but not looking good. no one seems to sell a 225/35/18

anyone know how these tires tend to run, on the wide side or narrow? any opinions on the 225/40 and 285/30 combo? front sidewall will be right around 90mm while rear will be around 85.5mm

anyone have any opinions or other options? maybe a 35 series tire from another company. will not run falken for reference.

sort of. thanks for posting it up, but really cant tell from the pic how oversized the tire is/isnt. I have to figure out if the sizes i am choosing will look appropriate together.

life would have been easy if they just made a 225/35/18 tire. but thats no fun. lol

anyone running these tires on a 10" wheel. going to check tyrestretch some more to see if i can find something similar

Toyo T1R, Federal SS-595, Nitto NT555, Nankang NSII... All of those come in 225/35-18. I'm sure there are others, but those are the more popular choices.
