hankook v12 vs Fk 452 sidewalls true to size?

I'm planning to switch from falken 452 to hankook v12. I heard different things about hankook v12 sidewalls being thicker, while some said it was thinner. Anyone has their own opinion?

I'm currently running fk452 225/40 on my 18x9 barely clearing my fender... I was wondering if i should get 225/40 or 215/40 for my set of hankooks v12

they run big. real big.
