  • Need help, 245/30 tire on 10.5 wheel

Hey guys need to help quickly.. ..

I am trying something no-one in my Accord Forums have tried so i am needing some help with people that know WTF there are talking about..

I have Vossen Cv2's, I am trying to put 10.5 all around..

It fit with no problem, using a 255/35 _achillies tire

I order and have 245/30_ Achillies tires " i need to find out if it will work.. "

Will that work, Does anyone have any Pictures.. I have searched and searched.. Gone through this hole 19 pages no luck..

Here are some pictures of what 255/35/20 Achillies tires on 10.5 look like

Are you asking if they'll fit or are you just asking for pictures?

This isn't exactly what you were looking for, but here are 245/35 on a 10"...

And yes, those tires will fit on a wheel that size no problem.

^ Well what sizes are those?

And personally, if it were me, I'd consider going with a 235...

That is suppose to be a 245 or 235/30 on a 10.5 from what Yahoo pictures says..

Unless those Ecsta's run ridiculously skinny, I highly doubt those are 235's on a 10.5". I just had 235/40's on my 9.5" wheel and I was extremely disappointed in the lack of stretch...disappointed enough that next week I'm ordering 215/40's for the same 9.5" wheel.

Will the tire be more Thick than the 255/35 i have now or would be it Low profile but stretched more?

                A 245/30 will have a much shorter sidewall than a 255/35.

yeah but my thinking which is this my first time going to aggressive stretch for me.

My question will the 245/30 give a more bubble affect since it stretch more with lower.

EDIT: Eh, not much shorter, but roughly a 1/2" shorter. So overall the top of the tire would sit roughly 1" lower.

Ok, I'm trying to understand. In your first post you mentioned running 255/35's with no problem. If that's the case, what exactly are you trying to achieve?

                              ok sorry about that..

Yeah i put my rear wheels that have 255/35 on my front, it cleared no problem but i cant full lock wheels because top of the tire touches the top fender edge and the tire just looks so BIG.. i don't like the look it's giving.. I want the Tire more Stretched but with lower profile.
