  • Fitment on E30

I'll just copy paste off R3VLimited.com. I am trying to figure out what size wheels and tires on my '87 E30 will be best.

Diamond: 15x8.5 +13 15x9.5 +13 would be beautiful (if possible). 205/50 and 215/45 tires. This will require a flat fender roll as well as linear springs (coilovers). For unrolled subtract an inch from each wheel and back the tires down to 195/55 and 205/50.
My car is lowered about 1.75 inches. The rims come in 16x8, 16x10.

I want to do 16" steelies. 16x10 may look dope, but may be a little excessive? Would 15's still tuck with the drop i have, would they be better?

What et 16x8 could I do? Got this email when I asked them:

We offer the 16x8 with a maximum offset of +12mm. We work in every 1/2" increments or (12mm) down to - 100 mm. The 16x10 is available in a maximum of +25 mm offset down to a - 100 mm also.

What size tire would be best for pairing with the rim recommendations? I've been pouring over all the internet resources I can find, but this is all Greek to me.

Can not be here because the police officer gives you a check... we do not hang off the rim.

That sounds like what I was planning. It'll have to be ET 12, but nothing some fender rollin' won't take car of.

(maybe a little pull?) What do you think?

          ALSO:

What tires would go well on these sizes? I don't want a crazy stretch, it's a DD and I don't want it to be unsafe, but a little stretch never hurt anyone. (plus to fit it under the fenders)

just because its your dd, does not mean you cant go with some nice stretch. I would vote for 195/40 and 215/40
