You should satin black the face and use gold hardware. And, get some damn centercaps!

Personally, I'd prefer the polished over the black for your car.

Have you thought about maybe doing white?

The hardware needs some colour, but I don't "dislike" the black lips as much as I thought I would.
Centercaps are necessary too.

Polished lips are still best for your car IMO.

Ah don't worry about hardware... I'll explain,

I did do that exact chop of white lips, reminded me of Ice cream too much? lol

I have a set of BBS RTs / Style 19s I am splitting down and swapping the 5 faces for, also have 2 tins of matching yellow paint. So 2 minds what to do. Do the 19 faces black, do them yellow? I love the yellow.

So when I swap the faces I will either replace or respray the bolts, if I stick with yellow faces the bolts will go yellow. If the faces go black, I'll do them gold.

Centre caps aren't sprayed because a friend wants the 5s and he doesn't want them to be yellow.

Looks good with the black lips in my opinion. Good way to salvage the damaged lips.
