  • BBS RS 061 and RS 022 big problem.

Guys i am on my way to kill myself. Ordered two 1.5" lips from another stancework's dude, but it seems that my original lips are wider than 1.5". Can somebody find the exact size of the rs61 and rs22 lips. Thanks in advance.

Why not just measure them? Are they in your possession?

        x3 on measuring.

Based on specs, somewhere between 2.5" and 3.5" ?

        Hopefully lesson learned.

edit: since someone will inevitably notice my hurpadurp estimates - rather than edit, I'll explain: I accounted for the bead width twice and underestimated face thickness.

you kinda bought smaller lips for your wheels.
re-sell them, and by new wider lips.

is there a website or a thread with all the RSs' wheels and lips, i mean with specs of the baskets and the lips.

I'm gonna polish them, they're pretty rare, all of them are 7j et12, most of the sets on the market are 6j front, 7j rear. Excellent summer wheels for my e30.

Actually the order for the 1.5"lips was canceled, the problem is that i want all of the lips to be slant, all of the aftermarket lips are stepped. I have 3 original slant lips (2" i guess) and one stepped (probably 2.5"). So i wanna buy one or two slant 2".

let me show u, i have 3 lips like this one on the left and 1 lip like the right one,

061 wheels have 1.5" slant lips, 6" barrels and 1/2" for the face. 211 have 2" slant lips 5.5" barrels and half inch for the face. thats the way they come. if someone swapped out parts on yours originally then they may have 2" lips, but i am 100% sure of these specs
