  • Rs's on an E30 questions

    Hey,

Im fitting Rs's to my e30.

    They are 5x130 16" 7"

    et 23 and et 36.

Spacers/adaptors are coming and are going to be 25mm in the front and rear

    So my questions are:

Which et ones would suit the rear better?

Also will I have to roll the arches with 205 45 16s on the rear?

    Thanks

Ok have figured out the et 36 ones will look better on the rears.

Arches question is still valid. the car is lowered 30mm from when I bought it.

It has the 325i Sport kit on it.

    Thanks

How do you want it to look? With those wheel offsets and that drop I would have gone staggered with the adaptor sizes. If you put the et23 wheels up front and made then effective et-2, you would want to get around a 42mm adaptor for the back to make them match the front. But then you would have larger lips in front and they would look kind of odd, not to mention that they would poke out a bunch.

My suggestion is keep the adaptors for the front and put the et36 up there then get the smallest size adaptors you can for the rear (15mm or 18mm) and put the et23 wheels back there. You would only need a small roll in the rear with those size tires if you go with my plan.
