    What car?

When you get to those sizes your main safety concern becomes the load ratings on the tires. They're not meant to hold up the heavier cars.

I don't know.....it might just be me but I don't think a 17x7 would like right with stretch. Anything below 8.5" width will be silly imo... get wider wheels

            Pretty much "no" to everything.

Especially the tire size that doesn't exist and the tire size that doesn't exist in North America.

Also, even if you did find 185/35-17s, that's way, way, way, way too short for your car.

Furthermore, 17x7 +23 still isn't really flush on that car, so why in the world would you need to stretch?

I ran low offset staggerd 17x7/8 wheels this year and it just doesn't look right in my opinion. A 195 is the smallest width I've found in the 17" size and it was the S Drives which I've heard run wide. The 205 912's that I have are square with the wheel. I also put 205's on the 8" rears which had a small amount of stretch and looked silly from behind the car.

If you want the stretched tire/stanced look, you'll need much wider 17" wheels.

If you want 185/35/17s, I can get them for you no problem. Shippings gonna be the deal breaker, though.

They have a load rating of 82, so 475kg per tire.

Pretty common size on 7x17, actually.

Nankang makes their NS-II in a 165/35/17, but it's not available in the US. They also make a 165/40/17 and 185/35/17. http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.p...7,_165/35_R_17

Right, there are several other sizes that can be had outside of the country. I was referring to the ones that are readily available to the US.

I have some 07 si rims with tires with no thread. I need new tires asap but I dont have the money right now. I wanted to know if it is possible for me to throw on the wheels from my oem steelies. the si rims are 17" while the steelies are 16"
