falken 512 side wall thickness

how thick are the side walls on 512s? ive shaved off the letters and prolly 2-3mm deep into the side wall. im kinda worried. should i be?

not at all. they are way thicker than you think. on the way to Georgia last year, one of the cars rubbed deep into the sidewall. so much so that you could set 3-4 quarters in the cut. it did fine for the remaining 20 hours of driving.
