  • E28 wheels cossover fitment guide?

Am I on glue, or was there an E28 wheel guide in here somewhere? It had all the different models of cars and wheels and what spacers would be needed also what tires would fit the e28s, with notes regarding what fender roll, trim or flare would be needed.
This seems like it must have come from Mr. Mike burroughs...or is it Sir Mike?

Someone point me in the right direction, please.

    Gordo.

Trial and error with rough calculation is way more fun.

Is that why I see some members here have stacks of wheels for sale? I **** that sick feeling you get after beeing all excited about my new purchase only to find out that i Fu**ed up with my measurements. I would much rather rely on someone elses misfortune in the trial and error department.
But seriously, wasn't there a list that had like the E39 M5 wheels would fit with 20mm spacers and such? Or was I not supposed to eat the worm in the bottom of the bottle?

      Gordo.

Theres lots of factors that go into your wheel purchase. Primarily width and offset. I can tell you from experience that I was able to fit a 16x9 et 14, and 17x8 et 20 safely without a fender roll. Now the only issue I have with my setup is the clearance between the rim and coilover collar. Less than 6mm of clearance exists. Tire size has a lot to do with fitment so do your research. Me personally I still try to keep the tire sizes close to stock height for speedo consistency. You could probably go a little more aggressive with the width but be aware you need to get spacers.

You can use my sizes as a gauge but mine are conservative. Just do a search and find out what works for other members too.

If you are on this site I doubt the fitment guide you are thinking of from Mye28 will do you any good. What do you need help with?

Is this the same Moose from mye28.com site? The one that was helping with my ' M or non M' e28 German police car?
