3) buy used set of real wheels
4) re-finish them with good ol sweat and elbow-grease.

And yes saving for the real thing is much more satisfying.

I have been saving for wheels, for a long time. Still not there yet, could have bought fake wheels, chose not to. Why? Because the companies that actually design these wheels deserve my support, and how bad ass is it to say, "Yeah these are real LM's", compared to "No, these are reps."

It is that easy btw.

Ya I Agree with the logic about saving up for the real thing, and what not, and how satisfying it is to be able to say there real but my job currently only gives me 10-15 hrs a week, and real 19 inch lms cost 4750 dollars, so if i make 100 a week ill have them a little over a year, while if i get these, which i am keeping ill be able to invest in other portions of the car like suspension,ect. and then go into performance upgrades.

well, this site is dedicated towards sick stance, and mostly to set a nice stance of, you need some sick wheels as well. How much did you spend on those wheels? because im 100% sure, i can find a sick wheel for the same amount, that is used.

I paid 625 free shipping on these and there going on a b5 passat. hopefully by the end of decemeber/ mid january ill get vmaxx coils and slam it, theres an into thread with my car if u wanna see it

Don't sweat it dude. I think they'll look good. As long as you don't play it off like they're genuine. You will however understand what everyone's talking about once you do buy real wheels. Once you do, you'll never go back. Then you'll look back at these and laugh.
