  • 17's On a W124?

What do you guys think? I have an opportunity to get some sick 17's for my w124, haven't test fitted them yet (the tires on them are too tall and would fit under my wheel well anyhow) but if any of you guys have experience with how a w124 will look with 17s feel free to add your opinion or thoughts or w/e. I have 18's on it now, and I think it looks good, but the 17's are a multipiece schweet wheel and look good by themselves but I always thought that 18's were the perfect size for a W124. What does someone else think?

I think 17"s would look pretty good. However, the wheels you have now look awesome.

Secondly....youre in Jax too?! My girl has a 92 White 300E, what are you dropped on? We are looking to lower hers this Christmas. If you do go 17s and want to sell the 18s hit me up.

can you show us the wheels you're talking about?

also i thing that 17's are great choice for w124, i'm runing my c124 on 18's too, but you know that with the 17's you can go even lower, and some proper stretch on 40 or 45 profile will do the job.

I am dropped on stock cut springs. I was on H&R's, but you can't get H&R's this low unless you cut them, so I sold them, didn't want to cut them. And I might be selling the 18s soon, I have a couple people interested, but I will hit you up.

ok..but you gotta know it depends what type of 17's will run.

i'm 100% sure about that the 17's are proper for w124, but you gotta start thinking for more lowering... or much tire...

            i'm interested what's next!

ya that's what I was thinking, if I go with 17s then I will need more low and more tire to pull them off. It's possible to get a thicker tire but still run a stretch too right? I plan on these being my show wheels so I will run a lot of stretch on them. Hopefully will have them by the spring next year, a lot of work needs to be done lol

remember much tire -> much stretch, and after that you'll be alble to poke the wheels hard.

don't hesitate, just do it, will be epic for sure!
