  • Need help/advide on wheel restoration

    Hi,

I have this set of style 5 that have been in storage for the past 3-4 years or so. They were a donation for a old project I was doing few years back.

Any how, I need your advise on how to do a full restoration, what do I need in tools and product, is it doable ( 2 wheels have fairly good amount of damage, that is why they were donated in the first place)

    The wheel set:

    Wheel N.1

    Wheel N.2

    Wheel N.3

    The damage of N.3

    Wheel N.4

    Damage of N.4

    close up N.4

Let me know what you think and thank you for your help, very appreciated.

    Chris.

wow thats some harsh curb rash... theres a DIY way you can use JB weld and redo the lip sand it and paint it. or you can find a refinshing wheel company than can do it, but you would probly spend ober $100 bucks a rim to refinish

The lip is also a bit crooked...I think i'll just send it to a shop, see if they can do something with it.

if the lip is separate, its probably easier to do new lips, if not, you will need to get them re-rolled and find someone who does curb rash filling with alloy
