Finding new barrels?

okay, I have a set of 15x6 stark IIs. I want ti get some new wider arrels for them, but i am having a hard time. They are two piece wheels with the typical fwd offset. not good enough for me any more.

Can anyone help me find some new barrels without having to go custom?

Where do they split? most 2piece, the center will come lose from the barrel / lip that is one piece, or the lip will come of the center / barrel that is one piece.

from what i can see, the face comes off by itself. no lips or anything with it. at the moment the lip is flush with the face. ill try to get some pictures of the wheel and post them. my phone wont let me do that right now.

New barrels without going custom? Did Stark IIs ever come with anything wider and lower offset?

There were some wider versions and Im sure they had different offsets. I just thought maybe I could use the barrel from a different wheel to get what I wanted. Im not sure about the spacing of the rivets or whatever.

I dont recall a set of starks with lips much larger than that. You're also going to want to check if these are welded together. Many 2 piece wheels are.

good chance you are out of luck on this deal. your two options are to have a custom 1-piece barrel made or turn them into 3-piece wheels and have custom lips and barrels. both would probably be unrealistic due to price.

how would i go about making them 3 piece? another question, are all 2 piece wheel the same when it comes to the spacing of the rivots?

pull one of the wheels apart and have a good look around, they will most likely be SSR type design barrels where they weld inner barrel and outer lip together or BBS LM design where they are 1 piece spun barrels.

in both cases its possible to cut the front lip off and get a custom lip spun up to make custom 3 piece wheels

Or get custom 3-piece barrels and add the faces.
