ACT/RONAL SX in sandwitch mount

Hello, i'm thinking about 3 piece rim ACT/RONAL SX 8,5x18" ET 49 fronts, and 9,5x18" ET 50 rears.
This wheels are'nt in sandwich mount configuration (lip, face, barrel).
Can I mount it that way? They will look like this:

you would know best since you have a set on hand, maybe if you machines a recess on the face of the star, otherwise it might not seal right.

wagonist, only way to have this rims im my hands is to buy them but thanks for reply.
I don't know is there any chance to machine a recess on the face, because face is magnesium. I can only quess that lip will be mounted nicely only on lugs.

Maybe someone try this at home?

You'd need to machine the face for the lip to mount flush.

Contact Brian or Jason at Rotiform. They recently finished doing a lot of modifications to a custom set of magnesium Ronal's. They could probably modify the face, but be prepared to spend some money to get it done.
