Help me decide

I have 17x7,8 (don't say anything about the crappy widths, I know).

I want to run them till the winter and till the summer so I can save some money to go with wider lips. I know its frowned upon to stretch tires on small widths, but the way I want them to sit I am going to need some mild stretch.


What would look/sit better on my 20th mk4 gti?

FRONT: 195X45X17
REAR: 195X45X17

OR

FRONT:195X45X17
REAR: 205X45X17

OR

FRONT: 205X45X17
REAR: 205X45X17

Opinions?

Also I forgot to add that the only 195/45/17s are the Yokohama S.drive or the 205/45/17s I would run would be the Falken 512s.


I also did some searching and saw the tread width for the 512S in like .2 less than the S. drives, so would this give me a slightly more stretch when compared to the 195/45?

I don't want ridiculous amount of stretch on the the wheels due to the crappy widths, but I do want some mild stretch so I won't rub in the rear and just a slight slanted sidewall up front to help tuck them.


I am not sure but I think the falken 512s all around in 205/45/17 would give me a nice clean stretched look?
