  • need info on stancing out an e46

hello, im new here and was looking to stance out my gfs e46, i dont know a whole lot about making it look right and thats why i came here for advice, after hers is done we will do the same with my e39.

    here are a few pics
note* we are keeping the same wheels ( staggared style 162 wheels ) and will try for a bit of stretch and poke

for the rears we bought 225 40 r18 tires and front im still unsure, i am going to order raceland coilovers and will add spacers as well. anything else i need to do or any other way i should go?

body wise we will be putting a zhp bumper on it and exhaust tips.. maybe m3 mirrors

Sounds like you have the right idea so far, coils and spacers and youre off to a good start...

By the bread of zeus, I love e39's, I think I want one next sometime down the road.

Search around the forums, theres a few stanced e46 on here already.

would stretching tires work with these wheels even though they dont have a lip?
raceland coilovers okay for the money? and any other suggestions welcome

you get what you pay for.

and, stretch is dependent on the width of the wheel. Having/not having a lip doesn't change anything.
