E46 sedan fitment questions

I have found a set of wheels that I would like to buy but am just not sure if I can make them fit. They are 17x9.5 square with a +50 offset.
Any help would be great, thanks in advance!

I may be wrong but I thought adapters were to make it so that you can run a different bolt pattern?

Need spacers, they will hit the front struts, I test fitted some 18x9s et 45 and they didnt work in the front without spacers, used 15mm spacers and looked sick

yes your right..also any spacer bigger then 20mm is called an adapter..so its still a spacer..just a really big one
