  • 215/40/18 on 18x8 et20? E46 Coupe

Do you think 215/40 on a 18x8 et20 rim will rub with rolled fenders? My e46 coupe is lowered on H&R sport cup kit. Since 215/40/18 is a pretty rare tire, I can only special order them from a shop or buy them online. I don't want to order tires and then have them not fit, even with fender rolling.

I know 205/40 will work but I want to have the widest tire possible. Im also open to different tire possibilities.

    Thanks guys

well I'm gona run 215/35/18 by the end of this week and that should be even worst. they will be on 18x7.5 tho which is gona be narrow. I'm driving a 2010 scion xB and I'm sure I'm going to rub because I'll be running 30mm spacers due to a 48mm offset wheel. so i'm def gona roll the fenders. I'm also dropped on eibach sportline I might even be rubbing after that. so now the question is how much did you rolled your fenders and how much offset are your wheels?

i'm running staggered 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 et20 all around on my e46 coupe (waiting on tires) i went with a 205/40/18 and 225/40/18 so i think you will be just fine with a 215

18x8 ET 20 front or rear OP? in either case u can do that allllllll daaaaayyy long on a E46 coupe. Just roll for save measure. 1) 18x8 is not wide 2) the low offset won't really matter based on reason number 1. So you are good. Keep us posted!

            Go with 215/35/18 instead.

You can go lower that way.
