Widened steelies Appreciation thread

I am sorry, but that looks absolutely horrendous. With those tires and that much poke, is just looks mexican. Also, how does the tire not contact the fender on a bump?

newbie question here. how is a widened steelie made or done? someone tell me if there is a hot wo thread or something seriously lol. looks like a cheap but sick alternative for buyin wide wheels. i wouldnt mind rockin some gloss black wide steelies on the altima.

Im pretty sure they just have a larger lip banded/welded on. I had a set made a few months back. they turned out ok but dont know that I would have paid as much as I did for the quality.
